Summary/Abstract: Dimitar Nenov is a prominent Bulgarian composer and pianist. He was born on December 19, 1901, according to the new style - January 1, 1902, in Razgrad, Northern Bulgaria. Dimitar Nenov died in Sofia - August 30, 1953. The composer left deep traces in the history of Bulgarian music of the 20th century as a pianist, composer and teacher. Dimitar Nenov began playing the piano at the age of six without systematic training. He had serious piano successes whenhe turned 15 and especially when he began studying with Prof. Stoyanov. He had several lessons with "great encouragement" from the composer Maestro Georgi Atanasov.
