Summary/Abstract: In this paper contemporary education systems are viewed from the perspective of critical theory. Education systems were subject of particularly intensive changes in the 80s. of the last century. Transformations had to do with the increasing domination of the neoliberal ideology. In teaching system the business education model and the new management started to perform the main role. As a result there are many disadvantageous social effects, such as the reproduction of existing relations of power and subordination. The paper describes also other issues, such as the problem of false dilemma: fordism yet or postfordism already and deficiencies of dominant education systems with regard to the conditions of contemporaneity.
