Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between self-silencing behavior and psychological resilience in a sample of university students. The research was conducted with 79 volunteer students studying at a state university in Izmir. Data were collected using the Self-Silencing Scale, the Short Psychological Resilience Scale, and socio-demographic questions. The main hypothesis was formulated as "There is a significant negative relationship between students' self-silencing behaviors and their psychological resilience." Reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, independent samples T-test, ANOVA test, and correlation analyses revealed no relationship between self-silencing behavior and psychological resilience. In the study, only male students showed higher psychological resilience than female students. No relationship was found with other sociodemographic variables. The results were evaluated together with all the findings and suggestions were created.
