Summary/Abstract: This article examines Caesarius of Arles's preaching on the Holy Spirit, drawing primarily from his extant sermons. Caesarius focused chiefly on the divinity of the Holy Spirit, referencing selected scriptural passages and quoting the Quicumque creed. In contrast, he devoted limited attention to the Holy Spirit's role in the life of Christians, noting only that the Holy Spirit bestows gifts according to divine will and purifies individuals by eradicating evil. The article further demonstrates that Caesarius's preaching continues the tradition established by earlier Church Fathers, particularly reflecting the influence of St. Ambrose and St. Augustine.
