Summary/Abstract: In the history of the Orthodox Church, there are many saints named in the Synaxarion by the way of how they lived their life on this ephemeral land. We all know about the Apostles, the Martyrs, Bishops, Archbishops or Monks, etc. But unfortunately, just a few of us have heard about a special category of saints, that is, Saints Fools for Christ. This kind of person that the Holy Church recognised as a saint is very uncommon. Up to this point, one can observe examples of the peculiar behaviour of the Prophets in the Old Testament. Additionally, the lifestyle of the first Christian monks in Egypt perplexed many, leading them to be labelled as fools. Nevertheless, until Saint Symeon the Fool, who was born in the sixth century, no one was written in the Synaxarion with the attribute 'Fool' for Christ. This behaviour originated in the Byzantine Empire, where we encountered two individuals known as 'fools for Christ'. In this paper, we aim to highlight how they faithfully adhered to and fulfilled the commandments of the Gospel.
