Summary/Abstract: Films serve as an important tool for reflecting individuals’ inner worlds and psychological processes. In this context, the primary objective of this study is to examine the film *On the Dry Grass* within the framework of Carl Gustav Jung’s analytical psychology. In the study, the characters were analyzed based on Jung’s concepts of the persona and shadow archetypes. The film is presented as a social drama. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing document analysis. The film’s scenes were examined on a minute-by minute basis. The findings identified aspects of the main character’s persona that reflect their social roles, while repressed emotions were found to manifest in specific ways through the shadow. It also highlights the internal conflicts arising from the main character’s own truths and repressed aspects, as well as the tensions between the persona and the shadow. Consequently, when evaluated from a Jungian perspective, the film deeply reflects the quest for self and internal conflicts. In this regard, the study contributes to the literature within the context of analytical psychology and establishes a exemplary perspective within film analyses.
