Summary/Abstract: Depression is the most common psychological illness in primary care. The frequency and severity of depression; It varies according to socioeconomic status, presence of social support, gender and age. In the treatment of depression; Strengthening coping mechanisms is important in social support along with psychodynamic and psychosocial activities. Cognitive behavioral therapies include psychoeducation and activities and cognitive interventions for the treatment of depression.
