Summary/Abstract: This study is based on a rather unusual book in the literary field, written by Adi Secară and entitled Horodok. In this regard, it would be appropriate to approach the text by mapping the lyrical universe conceived rhizomatically by the writer coming from the city of Galaţi, using symbolic, aesthetic, thematic, intertextual, philosophical, religious, mythological, and other tools. Essentially, Horodok is a book about the search for meaning in a seemingly meaningless world. Meaning is no longer given by God, nor by tradition, nor by love, nor by reason. Meaning is produced by the poem. The thoughtful and reflective reader has the duty to reconstruct meanings and even to complement them. The book is a dissertation on the remains of the world and of the self, while the writer paradoxically, immerse himself into poetry, believing that it is the only space where salvation is possible.
