Summary/Abstract: Records from Warmia in Georg Wenker's questionnaires for the Deutscher Sprachatlas. The text examines questionnaires for the German Language Atlas from the area of today's Warmia. These are translations of sentences from German into the Warmian dialect from villages in the Olsztyn and Reszel counties written down in the second half of the 19th century. These resources can be used to reconstruct the dialect of the time and can provide information on dialectal features for the depositors of the Warmian dialect. The questionnaires documented phonetic features characteristic of the area under discussion, e.g. the lack of mazuration, asynchronous pronunciation of soft labial consonants (mnieć 'mieć', to have) and reduction of labial consonants due to this asynchrony (pozie 'powie', will say), iotation of an onset vowel i (jiść 'iść', to go), pronunciation of the front nasal vowel ę as aj (gajsi 'gęsi', geese).
