Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the strategic dimension of agricultural relations between Romania and the GCC states, from the perspective of economic diplomacy and internal security. Romania is one of the main exporters of cereals and live animals in the EU, and Gulf markets are major destinations. GCC interests – expressed through trade partnerships and investment intentions – highlight the use of food security as a soft power tool. The analysis explores implications for Romania’s internal order: price stability, rural community safety, and agricultural resource protection.
