Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present key security issues for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, which are implemented within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). An analysis of the member states’ cooperation activities was carried out. Also, an analysis of the collected materials in the form of newspaper articles and literature on the subject made it possible to capture the most important areas of cooperation for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. While these countries are facing similar problems in terms of security, one difference is the classification in terms of priority. The main research methods used in the creation of the article included synthesis through causal association, analogy, induction, and deduction.
