Summary/Abstract: In the 21st century, foreign language teaching is undergoing a process of continuous transformation due to the influence of technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Recent technological advancements have introduced a wide range of learning applications and ICT tools that support and enhance the educational process. These modern resources allow teachers to create more interactive and effective lessons, thus facilitating foreign language learning in a more engaging manner. A key aspect of this transformation is gamification, an innovative method that integrates game elements into educational activities. Gamification not only makes lessons more attractive but also boosts students' motivation and engagement. By applying these techniques, a more dynamic and interactive learning environment is created, promoting collaboration and skill development in an enjoyable and motivating way. Through the course Teaching languages in the digital era: the best apps, web platforms and ICT solutions for learning languages, participants were trained in the best learning apps and ICT resources, including FigJam, Padlet and ChatGPT with a view to enhancing foreign language teaching. This course was dedicated to updating the skills of teachers and librarians and to promoting best educational practices. These applications are designed to improve the educational experience, from creating collaborative lessons to providing real-time feedback and personalizing learning materials. Moreover, participation in this course facilitated the exchange of best practices amongst educators from different countries and encouraged the application of these new methods in libraries and classrooms. By using these apps and techniques, teachers and librarians can create a more stimulating educational environment that meets the current needs of learners and facilitates foreign language learning in an innovative and efficient way.
