Summary/Abstract: The research focuses on the analysis of the effectiveness of a screening and stimulation programme for preschool-aged children with special educational needs. The research sample consisted of 34 children aged 5 to 6 years with special educational needs from six kindergartens. Orientation-based diagnostics were conducted. An experimental intervention (stimulation) was carried out in three of the kindergartens, while no intervention took place in the remaining three. The research data were primarily analysed using qualitative methods, while quantitative analysis served a complementary role. The quantitative analysis did not reveal statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups, which supports the limited demonstrability of the intervention at the group level. However, qualitative data indicate individual positive shifts, suggesting the importance of targeted support and the need for methodological refinement of the intervention.
