Summary/Abstract: The article presents an assessment of the natural, landscape, and cultural attractiveness of the Brodnica Landscape Park (BPK) area based on the point-based bonitation method. This method involved selecting and analyzing criteria that influence the visual attractiveness of the landscape and the state of tourism development. The evaluation categories included natural assets such as landforms, surface waters, forests, nature monuments, and nature reserves, as well as anthropogenic and cultural assets: accommodation and dining facilities, transportation accessibility, historical monuments, and accompanying infrastructure. The BPK area was divided into 351 basic hexagonal units. The selected criteria were used to prepare a map of the visual-aesthetic value of the landscape, based on the total point score of each criterion from both dimensions within each basic unit. In the final stage, four categories of tourism attractiveness were distinguished, ranging from the least attractive areas to the most attractive parts of the BPK. This enabled the identification of locations with the greatest landscape values and the highest appeal from a tourist's perspective. An evaluation was also conducted regarding the applicability of the method for planning the development of tourism functions within the BPK area, through the application of Wejchert's curve of impressions and an assessment of tourism attractiveness.
