The Categoral Aspect of Contemporary Pedagogical Thought. Continuity and Change in an Interdisciplinary Context

Summary/Abstract: This article examines the significance of changes occurring in the language of contemporary educational thought. It offers a reflection on these changes and on the ways in which they are assigned a constitutive role in the development of pedagogy and in strengthening the socio-cultural significance of educational research. In this context, the central question concerns the extent to which the concepts and categories employed in the language of pedagogy represent the knowledge embedded in contemporary educational thought.
