Summary/Abstract: A traditional static isolated approach to the analysis of airport business models has proven inadequate in the face of recent dynamic changes in the airport environment, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The key components of models such as resources, partners and revenue structure must be analysed from the perspective of their dynamics and interactions. Airports also operate in multiple markets (e.g. transportation, trade, logistics), and their business models are dependent on their location, macro-environment and competitive environment. A developed business model scheme takes into account the impact of environment, the choices (autonomous or forced) made within its components as well as feedbacks. The developed tool makes it possible to comprehensively analyse the processes taking place at airports, and thus also better understand the consequences of managerial choices and decisions. The new approach supports management processes and allows airports to better adapt to the changing market conditions. It also fills the research gap and provides practical analytical tools.
