Summary/Abstract: This article explores the cognitive and communicative parameters of perceiving syntactic non-standardness in contemporary poetic discourse. Using Tetiana Yakovenko's collection In the Depths of Heavens... (2020) as a primary source, the study identifies how syntactic deviations function as linguistic-aesthetic signs of culture. The research integrates classical theories of style with modern cognitive linguistics, analyzing mechanisms such as "defamiliarization", cognitive delay, and affective resonance. It is argued that intentional syntactic non-standardness structures a non-canonical communication space, forcing the recipient to transition from linear decoding to deep interpretation. The findings suggest that such deviations transform grammatical structures into intellectual codes, ensuring the continuity of high literary traditions and enhancing the aesthetic impact on the reader.
