Summary/Abstract: In this study the author finalizes a broader line of research on mathematical terminology in the 19th century, focusing on the analysis of terms belonging to the subfield of geometry. Starting from a corpus consisting of 135 articles drawn from Ion Costinescu's Vocabularu romano-francesu [The Romanian-French Vocabulary] (Bucharest, 1870), the author aims to observe the dynamics and status of these terms in contemporary Romanian. The descriptive analysis of geometrical terms will allow the highlighting of their morphological, semantic, and etymological features and their evolution and integration into Romanian, together with the dynamics of lexical borrowing in 19th-century Romanian.
