Summary/Abstract: Femicide in Bosnia and Herzegovina presents an interdisciplinary scientific study of femicide from the perspectives of criminalistics, criminology, victimology, criminal law, forensic medicine, and international human rights standards. The study examines the theoretical foundations of femicide, its etiological and phenomenological aspects, the characteristics of victims and perpetrators, criminalistic and forensic investigation methods, risk assessment, comparative legal models, and the current situation and challenges in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Particular attention is devoted to prior violence, institutional shortcomings, risk assessment, and the role of multidisciplinary cooperation in preventing femicide. Based on international standards and comparative experiences, the study proposes a model for a National Femicide Watch System in Bosnia and Herzegovina and de lege ferenda solutions for the normative regulation of femicide. The findings indicate that femicide represents the final stage of continuous violence and that effective prevention requires coordinated institutional action, continuous risk assessment, and the development of modern preventive mechanisms.
