DIGITAL FORENSICS AND MOBILE APPLICATIONS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST VIOLENCE

Summary/Abstract: This research paper analyzes the effectiveness and impact of mobile applications in violence prevention through the application of digital forensics. The focus is on applications developed and used in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the surrounding region, including React App, BeSafe, SafeYou, Budi Sigurna, and Bright Sky. Using a weighted scoring model (30% awareness, 40% efficiency, 30% user safety perception), apps were ranked and a projection for 2026 was made. Results show that Bright Sky, React App, and SafeYou are the most efficient and balanced. The study emphasizes the need to improve lower-ranked apps to provide better protection and support for victims of violence.
