Summary/Abstract: The Christian family is created and blessed by God to fulfill its vocation of being “a school of love and faith”. In the family, parents educate their children in a natural and responsible way, characters are polished, Christian virtues are cultivated: unity in love, faith, respect, empathy, trust, altruism and gratitude. In today's society, the family and young people face numerous and complex challenges, turmoil and hardships of the following order: material, social, ideological, moral, cultural and spiritual. The educational and moral crisis of the contemporary society diminishes the practice of an authentic Christian life, in the family and also social sphere, as well as in the personal plan. The healing of the family’s” wounds” and the resolution of the problems it faces will come from the parents, through open communication with their own children, through an adequate education for life, received in school and in the Church, through the cultivation of the moral, cultural, ethical and religious values of a normal and harmonious society, in which each person manages to fulfill their role and the Christian vocation of becoming “a crown of divine creation”.
