Summary/Abstract: In 2017, Romania marks ten years since the accession to the European Union, a moment in time that meant the full return of our country to the democratic world and the beginning of its participation in the European decision-making process. In this context, it seems relevant to recall the important role that the Romanian Parliament has played in the accession process, as the preparation and the completion of this process needed the remodeling of the institutional and legal framework, as well as a real dialogue with the European institutions.
