Summary/Abstract: Even though it is not so often mentioned in statistics, fatigue as a risk factor of workplace accidents is one which should represent the object of constant preoccupation of the employer, the employee and the state by use of means and methods to assure restoration of work capacity and to strengthen the work-related discipline, without neglecting to determine why such events were produced and how they occurred. This study tackles some of the current issues on workplace accidents caused due to fatigue, outlining the relation between the risk factors effort, over exertion, the executant’s condition and the work task, particularized in case of car accidents classified as route accidents and therefore genuine car accidents which require a thorough, comprehensive and rapid investigation at scene of vehicles and transport means, of the victim as well as hearing various persons involved.
