Summary/Abstract: The article examines the representation of the Hungarian book industry from Romania in the local press during 2024–2025, with particular attention to the extent to which readers are informed about the state of book publishing and bookselling. The article continues the author's earlier investigation of the 2022–2023 period, providing a comparative perspective on changes in media coverage over time. The analysis reveals a noticeable shift in the editorial priorities of the surveyed media outlets, influenced by personnel changes as well as evolving perspectives within both the publishing sector and the press. The most significant trend is the marked decline in the visibility of the book industry: news have become less frequent, and publishers themselves are mentioned far less often than in the previous period. The article argues that these changes reflect a transformation not only in media agendas but also in the public representation of the Hungarian literary and publishing landscape from Romania.
