Dual degree studies as a form of academic laboratory of didactic innovation. Case study of the dual second-degree studies in social economy at the Pedagogical University of Cracow

Summary/Abstract: The potential created under the formula of dual studies responds to educational needs that arise from the specificity of functioning of social economy entities. This specific form of didactic innovation laboratory opens opportunities not only to make efforts to popularize the very idea of social economy, but also to meet the emerging deficits in the functioning of social economy entities. The purpose of this paper is to identify the effects obtained from the conducted dual studies and to outline on this basis change in the perception of work within the social economy. The research used a computer-assisted survey technique (CAWI). The hypothesis that graduates from a dual degree program in social economy, noticeably led to an increase in the maturity of the perception of problems related to the functioning of the social economy was verified positively, as a high percentage of respondents recognized the importance of a mainly pro-business attitude towards the problems of functioning of social economy entities.
