Summary/Abstract: Primary prevention of risk behaviour currently operates in an environment characterised by the rapid emergence of new societal risks, legislative changes, and evolving forms of risk behaviour. These developments increase the need for effective cooperation among institutions responsible for protecting public health, public safety, and the healthy development of children and adolescents. The aim of this article is to highlight the importance of intersectoral cooperation as one of the fundamental prerequisites for modern primary prevention and to define the role of strategic communication in sharing professional knowledge and facilitating its transfer into preventive practice. The article is based on relevant professional and strategic documents complemented by the author‘s long-term practical experience in the field of primary prevention. It also presents examples of the practical implementation of intersectoral cooperation through professional conferences, educational platforms, and other preventive activities. The article emphasises that effective primary prevention is not the result of the efforts of a single institution but of a long-term system of cooperation based on the sharing of professional knowledge, coordination among key stakeholders, and strategic communication.
