Summary/Abstract: The article presents a reflection on the social project titled "Parent, Know Your Rights", which developed an informational support tool for parents with limited parental authority. The aim of this reflection is to analyze the type of informational support that can effectively empower parents. The project was carried out using a research-action-education approach, involving close collaboration between students and experts. The article describes the various stages of the project based on a rights-based approach in social work, which views support recipients as rights-holders and focuses on developing solutions that respect their rights and dignity. The article outlines the origins of the project rooted in a critical diagnosis of the parents' situation, the process of knowledge gathering, the organization of workshops, and the interdisciplinary work on the guidebook. The findings from the project highlight the importance of parents' active involvement in decision-making processes, continuous evaluation, updating of information support tools, and fostering interdisciplinary cooperation between institutions, to more effectively empower parents with limited parental authority.
