The Street of the Town - from the Outside and from the Inside (About the Future Exposition of the Regional Historical Museum in Rousse)

Summary/Abstract: The exposition will be situated in two halls with a total area of 202 sq. m. "Α Street of Rousse" is presented as a place for social and spiritual contact. The idea is to given a concentrated expression of the cultural identity of Rousse in a complete ensemble, and also to reveal the town's life, displayed in social relations, architecture, economy, technical innovations and culture from the end of the 19-th to the beginning of the 20-th century. The exhibition will present chronologically the port and the station, as well as shops and workshops, printing offices, bookshops, a pub, a confectionery, photographic studios, masquerades and balls in the "Art club".
