Summary/Abstract: The article aims to present the idea of the association Comunità Regina della Pace and its activities directed towards promoting prayers for peace in the world. These initiatives relate to the project Twelve Stars in the Crown of Mary, Queen of Peace. Therefore, this paper introduces one of the stars – the Adoration Altar “Star of Kazakhstan”, located in the Sanctuary of Oziornoje. Through its symbolism, the altar conveys a theological message calling for continuous prayer for harmony among nations and for the cessation of wars taking place in various parts of the world. As a work of art, the altar employs symbols drawn from Kazakh and Polish culture as well as from Sacred Scripture, guiding the praying person towards an experience of God and drawing attention to existential problems that can and should be addressed in the spirit of the Catholic faith.
