Personal and Professional Profile of the Modern Children's Teacher

Summary/Abstract: The report draws attention to the personal and professional competencies of the preschool teacher. It is also an attempt to characterize the contemporary preschool teacher, but looking back in time to perceive and understand how changing social conditions and historical conditioning have left their mark on the formation of the teacher's profile. The problem relates to the generalized idea of the positive image of today's educator and is particularly relevant today given the expectations of users in the field of preschool pedagogy - children, parents, society. The reasons for the interest in it are also dictated by the accelerated development of information and communication technologies, which we all observe and on which we are dependent to varying degrees.
