Riddles – a Means of Acquiring Knowledge About Road Safety. Author's Riddles for Children in Preschool School Lesson

Summary/Abstract: This article examines riddles as a didactic tool in preschool age. Riddles are applicable both at different stages of the educational process and in different thematic areas. A person's knowledge of the specific everyday and natural environment in which they live is concentrated in riddles, but at the same time they are a manifestation of their ability to search for and reveal meaningful connections between things in the world around them. With its fun and entertaining nature, the riddle is a suitable and applicable didactic tool in kindergarten education and in particular in the teaching of the Basic Education Program. It allows for expanding the ideas and orienting children in concepts such as "street", "elements of a street", "roadway", "road signs"
