Summary/Abstract: The present article examines the Wushu Duanwei system. It offers an overview of its history, characteristics, and shortcomings, and shares the author’s personal experience teaching it to her students. The study states that the Duanwei System’s greatest advantage is its gradual skill development and clear teaching content, while limited access to teaching resources and a lack of a fully functioning examination and information network are among its greatest shortcomings.
