Summary/Abstract: The legislation and jurisprudence of Romania and the Republic of Moldova have contributed as a starting point for the national doctrines of the two countries, in an attempt to highlight the fact that the two major institutions of labor law, more specifically collective labor agreements and collective labor disputes, influence one another having an inversely proportional relationship, in the sense that when the employees refuse to start, continue or terminate collective negotiations, they trigger collective labor disputes. Equally important to point out is that once the collective labor agreements are mediated and terminated, generating collective labor disputes becomes impossible or unlikely to be generated.
