Summary/Abstract: Foreign language teachers often ask themselves questions regarding the specifics of teaching younger generations. There is no doubt that ongoing globalization and rapid technological progress have a significant impact not only on people growing up during these changes but also open many new opportunities for language teaching practitioners. The essence of the problem, however, lies in selecting appropriate techniques for the appropriate groups of students to consciously facilitate their knowledge acquisition. The aim of the study described in this article is to characterize Generations Z and Alpha in terms of the language anxiety they experience, compare the results, and then draw conclusions that could be useful for foreign language teaching practitioners.
