Summary/Abstract: This article proposes the integration of songs from Édith Piaf's repertoire into corrective phonetics classes in the context of teaching French as a foreign language. The use of songs enriches the development of phonological competence by introducing both cultural and emotional dimensions. The phonetic exercise models presented in the article demonstrate that Édith Piaf's songs can be effectively and engagingly employed to develop phonemic awareness, practice the accurate articulation of sounds, and improve the ability to distinguish and apply stress patterns, rhythm, and various intonation contours.
