Summary/Abstract: This article examines the concept of culturality within the academic context, providing a semantic reconstruction of the notion informed by Anna Jawor’s (2023) cultural studies perspective. Empirically, it draws on focus group interviews with university faculty, aimed at understanding how participants interpret their experiences of academic culturality and how these interpretations shape educational interactions. Using a constructivist grounded theory, seven dimensions of academic culturality were identified. The study highlights the heuristic value of culturality for educational research and underscores the need for further systematic inquiry.
