Summary/Abstract: The article presents a review of research on generational differences, with particular emphasis on Generation Z. The analysis combines an intersectional perspective with the need for generalization, focusing on the impact of new technologies, migration, transformations in interpersonal relationships, the education system, as well as the political and activist engagement of young people. The text highlights both the strengths and limitations of generational studies, proposing their use as a framework for qualitative cultural analyses. It also includes a case study of the series Sex Education, which illustrates cultural representations of generational experiences and mechanisms of intergenerational communication. Overall, the article demonstrates how global trends intersect with local contexts, shaping contemporary generational experiences and provoking deeper reflection on the dynamics of cultural and social phenomena.
