Summary/Abstract: The essay attempts to draw the reader's attention to the parallel word formation patterns of German and Danish, which serve as a methodological basis in the teaching program of Danish as a second foreign language by students of German. At the same time, however, it also tries to point out the mostly known deviations of Danish morphology and syntax from German morphology and syntax, and thus also the uniqueness of Danish. A separate chapter also mentions phonology as the most difficult language subsystem of Danish for German and Slavic learners.
