Summary/Abstract: Cycles for piano Simple variations and Psychological studies in variation forms written by Vitalie Verhola present trials of an young composer into the individual treatment of the genre. Starting with the model approved in musical practice during centuries, combining the procedures of ornamental variety, of genre and apparently traditional character, these free variations overcome the usual way and get involved in "atipic" types of variated cycles. Original by concept, language and form, pianistic resourses and other means of expression, both cycles denote more factors that permit being involved into a macrocycle.
