Summary/Abstract: Türkiye accounts for 8.6% of global olive production. As a country that first began exporting olive oil in 1967, Türkiye is self-sufficient in domestic consumption and maintains a net exporter status. The country's olive oil export volumes have shown an upward trend. Olive and olive oil production hold substantial economic value due to their contribution to agricultural-based industries as both raw materials and sources of employment. Within the scope of this study, variables believed to influence olive oil prices were identified through a comprehensive literature review and analyzed using the SMOreg algorithm. Based on the literature, the target variable was defined as olive oil price, while the explanatory variables included diesel price, government subsidies, calcium ammonium nitrate, ammonium nitrate, urea, diammonium phosphate, compound fertilizers, and harvest labor cost. The findings indicate that harvest labor cost and diesel price are the most significant determinants of olive oil prices. Fertilizers and minerals such as calcium ammonium nitrate, diammonium phosphate, and urea were found to have a modest positive impact on olive oil prices. It was concluded that the increase in the prices of ammonium nitrate and compound fertilizers had a slight negative effect on the price of olive oil.
