Summary/Abstract: This study comprehensively examines the multidimensional effects of transportation infrastructure on regional development in the Black Sea Region. The role of transportation infrastructure in fostering economic growth, expanding trade volume, creating employment opportunities, and reducing regional disparities is analyzed in detail. A comparative assessment of the transportation infrastructures of G7 countries, China, and Turkey constitutes one of the focal points of the study. The impacts of delays in Turkey’s transportation infrastructure investments on regional development are scrutinized, and the disparities with developed countries in per capita terms are demonstrated through concrete data. The research analyzes the contributions of major transportation networks— such as highways, railways, and ports—to the regional economy. Furthermore, the adverse effects of inadequate transportation infrastructure on economic stagnation, rising logistics costs, and imbalances in regional development are also addressed. Through qualitative analyses supported by quantitative data, the study presents the tangible contributions of transportation investments to the region’s economic integration and social welfare. In addition, it emphasizes the necessity of developing strategic transportation planning and infrastructure investments in alignment with regional development policies in order to achieve sustainable development goals. The findings of the study serve as a significant reference point for future research in the fields of regional development policies and transportation investments.
