II. ARGUMENTUM

Summary/Abstract: Few institutions have, over time, generated as much passion and debate as nullity. Unlike other concepts intrinsically associated with a certain type of legal relationship, nullity crosses the entire normative system: it is present in contract law, property law, succession law, family relations, as well as in corporate law, tax law, administrative law, and labor law. This is because, in essence, nullity is not merely a technical sanction applicable to a legal act, but one of the ways in which the legal order expresses its validity requirements and protects its own values.
