Summary/Abstract: This article examines the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences’ (FABC) ecclesiological understanding of the Body of Christ as articulated in its pastoral responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing upon textual analysis and contextual theological interpretation, the study investigates how the FABC reinterprets and applies this central ecclesiological category in response to the unprecedented challenges faced by the Church in Asia during the pandemic. After situating the discussion within the broader context of the pandemic’s impact on Asian ecclesial communities, the article analyzes selected FABC documents in light of Catholic teaching on the Body of Christ. It argues that the pandemic prompted a renewed and contextually grounded understanding of ecclesial communion, solidarity, and mission, thereby contributing to the contemporary development of Catholic ecclesiology in Asia.
