Summary/Abstract: The study investigates students’ attitudes toward sustainable transformation through a survey conducted at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University between January and February 2024. The research employs an adapted version of the Sustainability Consciousness Questionnaire (SCQ) developed by Gericke et al. (2019), which has been validated in multiple countries. The survey, administered digitally via Microsoft Forms, includes 16 questions covering three sustainability dimensions – environmental, social, and economic – alongside two additional questions measuring locus of control (Q17) and trust in institutions (Q18). A five-point Likert scale was used for responses, and data were analysed using R statistical software, applying descriptive statistics, reliability analysis (Cronbach’s alpha, McDonald’s omega, Guttman’s lower bound), hypothesis testing, and correlation analysis. The results confirm the hypothesis that students exhibit strong sustainability awareness and positive attitudes toward sustainable development. Correlation analysis highlights significant relationships between corporate responsibility, consumer behaviour, and environmental attitudes. While students demonstrate a high internal locus of control, institutional trust remains moderate, indicating the need for improved policy communication. The study contributes to understanding sustainability attitudes among young professionals and provides insights for educational programs and corporate sustainability initiatives.
