Summary/Abstract: Human trafficking represents a serious violation of human rights and a violation of the dignity and integrity of the person. It involves various forms of exploitation and legally prohibited violent acts that are in many cases connected or organized as part of organized international criminal activities. International criminal law recognizes this type of crime as a serious crime that threatens the most important social values, namely the life and body of the victim. Given the serious consequences that seriously disrupt the life of the victim long after the exploitation has ceased, this form of crime deserves special attention in its suppression but also in the protection of victims, especially when it comes to children and minors. From the aspect of the topic itself, in this paper, special emphasis will be placed on the analysis of international documents and norms of criminal legislation in the country that define the framework of acts that are considered child trafficking, as well as instruments that provide protection in the treatment of children as victims of human trafficking.
