Summary/Abstract: In an era in which the Romanian constitutional court has issued certain judgments and decisions that are at least questionable and controversial, and 34 years after the initial adoption of the country’s Constitution, it is necessary to launch a wide range of discussions about the reestablishment of the norms and principles of organization and functioning of this institution, with the aim of counteracting the deficiencies that have manifested themselves so far in its activity.
