Summary/Abstract: This study analyzes how the military escalation in the Middle East, opposing the interests of the USA and Israel against those of Iran, directly impacts the stability of Bulgaria. Instead of a traditional review, the analysis focuses on dynamic threats ranging from terrorist cells and migration pressure to hybrid disinformation campaigns and energy insecurity. Special attention is given to the development of a comprehensive prevention system aimed at ensuring the protection of strategic infrastructure, state borders, and key public facilities such as airports and train stations. The main conclusion is based on the understanding that under conditions of asymmetric threats, our national security critically depends on active partnership within the collective mechanisms of the EU and NATO
