Summary/Abstract: This article examines how the principles outlined in Tristan Tzara’s “How to Make a Dadaist Poem” were used as the central directing strategy in the creation of L’Om DAdA, staged by Gigi Căciuleanu in 2016 at the “I.L. Caragiale” National Theatre in Bucharest, on the centenary of the Dada movement. The study focuses in particular on Căciuleanu’s deconstruction of fragments from Tzara’s The Approximate Man and their recombination into new configurations of meaning, resulting in a coherent theatrical work. The article also highlights the complex interplay between bodily expression and vocal delivery, a dynamic that supports the structural and aesthetic coherence of Căciuleanu’s choreographic theatre.
