Summary/Abstract: Considering the connection between the concept of violence and sport, we inevitably need to return to the basic division of educational areas, where physical education holds a significant place. Physical education functions to preserve health, and health is one of the fundamental values of human life that significantly influences its quality. Humans are the most developed organisms capable of understanding, experiencing, communicating, cooperating, creating, building, improving and evaluating. Physical education as a component of education was mentioned even in ancient times. Pedagogical classics highly valued the role of physical education in the comprehensive educational process. J.A. Comenius was among the first to include physical exercise in the educational system. Over time, artificial and stylized gymnastics forms are increasingly being replaced by games and sports. At the same time, physical education is opening up and being transferred to open playgrounds and exercise areas. What happened during the development and where did the educational component of a complete and inalienable personality fail, so that increasingly violent situations are appearing on the scene and hate speech in fields where sportsmanship and fair play should prevail is a question to which more and more communities are seeking an answer in order to return to the fundamental principles of physical education and sports as a whole.
