Summary/Abstract: The paradigm of the critical triangle is given by the metaphysical issue common to three works: the Critique of Pure Reason, together with the metaphysical works included in the two editions of it, which are Prolegomena and the Metaphysics of Nature. The concept of substance with which the critical triangle operates, makes the distinction between the substance offering matter to the representation of an object, through which knowledge can be acquired, in this way: the permanence which ensures its quality of substrate of the existence is provided by what Kant calls a necessary law of our sensibility, in a Critique of Pure Reason conceived synthetical; and the permanence for which we do not have an instrument which comprises and proves it, in a Prolegomena, conceived according to an analytical method. At the same time, there is a so-called substance of the soul, which is the form of the consciousness, accompaning all our representations. It cannot be connected to matter, to gain knowledge, being an idea of substance.
